This post is sponsored by Clamato. As always, all opinions are my own.
The holidays are around the corner and you all know what that means...
FOOD FOOD AND MORE FOOD! My favorite time of the year!
Not only because I get to eat some amazing meals but most of all because of the family time spent together, the traditions and the sweet memories made. Now that I am a mother, the holidays are so more special, Christmas, takes a whole new meaning once you have children.
Thanksgiving isn't the same unless you have little people to share your traditions with. The warmth of family moments and all that time spent in the kitchen are truly memorable and warm my heart.
I hope you get to enjoy your holidays, even through the chaos. One of my favorite parts is cooking with my mom, therefore, as part of my foodie series I wanted to share a ceviche recipe with you.
If you know me, you know I have a weakness for anything shrimp. Ceviche is actually one of my favorite foods so when choosing what I would make for my collaboration with Clamato, it was a no brainer, ceviche  it was! But you can use Clamato for an endless variety of recipes.
Typically, my family and I make ceviche for lunch, it's just such a great alternative to any meal. I love using delicious and easy ingredients any time possible. Especially when you have to small kids. Time is definitely of the essence. This recipe was prepared in about a half hour and I even added chifles or plantain chips for an extra kick, yum! There are so many ways in which you can use Clamato, some of them I didn't even think of, but if you are looking for ideas, go here.
I hope you all love you ceviche as much as I enjoyed mine. Let me know if you have any questions by leaving a comment or let me know if you made it too! The recipe is here, but feel free to take a look at the variety of other meals you can cook up using the Clamato of your choice.

Sleeveless Coat: Boohoo
Sweater: c/o Old Navy
Pants: Zara
Booties: Vince Camuto via Lord & Taylor
Bag: Zara
Hi guys, I hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving! I am so happy my first Thanksgiving in our new home turned out great. I can't wait for Christmas!
We actually had an amazing Black Friday... the weather was to die! I wish this was our permanent winter. So I decided to wear this sleeveless coat I recently bought. I had been dying for one and wasn't sure if it would look good on me since I am only 5' tall but given the right pieces I think this can look good on just about everyone. I decided I wanted to do a monochromatic look and I loved how it turned out. I love this outfit for any given occasion this season. I know I'll be wearing this coat a lot this winter! Stay tuned for a few holiday themed posts that I can't wait to share!

Poncho: c/o Cabi
Jacket: c/o Cabi
Jeans: c/o Target
Boots: c/o Old Naby
Bag: Zara

Happy Thanksgiving Eve you guys!
I am so happy because we are going to have a "warm" holiday this year. It's going to be 60-65 through Saturday here in New Jersey. That's huge you guys! Here's a super chic and casual look I wore over the weekend that I think is perfect for running around this weekend shopping all the Black Friday sales. I especially am obsessed with this poncho and I am actually wearing it again today.
But the real reason for this post is because I wanted to drop in and wish you a very sweet and joyful Thanksgiving. May you be celebrating with your loved ones and making memories to last a lifetime. This year, I am hosting a full 12-15 people dinner! A little nervous but mostly just excited. The downside? My mom will be one of those people working retail tomorrow, from 2pm to 11pm on Thanksgiving Day. I hate it and it makes me angry.
I hate that she won't be spending our first Thanksgiving in my new house with us. But I am trying not to make her feel worse and just act like it's ok. I will be sending her food and also prepping a special brunch for her before she has to leave to work. But what matters most is that she is healthy and happy. I am mostly thankful for her. She is where my story begins and I am so grateful to God that she is here with me and we get to spend another holiday season together.
I have so much to be thankful for that one post wouldn't be enough.
My family is my joy and I am so thankful to God for that.
I wish you everything beautiful and happy and please remember to do a good deed at least once this week. I've been working on mine all week and it sure feels great.
And not just tomorrow but always, let's try to be better humans so we can build a great future for our kids and their families on day.
Happy Thanksgiving!
I love you all and I am so grateful for all of you in my life.
You've changed me forever. Xo.

This post is sponsored by Target. As always, all opinions are my own.

Hi guys! So this is part dos of my collaboration with Target this holiday season.
And I am so excited to share this one because for this theme we were asked to shop three items for none other than ourselves! Um, yes please!
Most times we get so caught up in the holiday craze and shopping for everyone else that we forget to treat ourselves a little bit. So off to Target I went (as usual, I am there 2-3 times a week!).
So this shopping trip was different, it was all about me and putting myself first, for once!
I love taking care of my family and shopping for our home and their closets but there's nothing like a shopping trip just for you! So I picked up three items: 1 apparel, 1 accessory and 1 beauty item.
I loved this motto jacket from the moment I laid my eyes on it. The color is perfect and the quality is amazing, it's super soft and I can dress it up and down. I also knew I wanted to get gloves for myself. Believe it or not I didn't own any leather gloves, until now! And I am obsessed with the ones I scored at Target. They look super expensive and I paid just $19.99 for them on sale! Typically I wouldn't do a matchy-matchy with my jacket, but I loved how the items looked together so I went for the monochromatic look on this one. I think it looks pretty great, what do you think?
Lastly, for my beauty item I knew I wanted to get a lippie. And red is my favorite color when it comes to giving any look that extra glam, no matter if I am dressed up or down, a red lip takes any outfit to the next level. So I picked up the "The Blake" from L'Oreal's Red Collection! It is stunning. And the best part? It truly lasts all day long. Talk about long wear!
I hope you guys are loving my holiday series with Target. I am having so much fun shopping these looks and sharing my ideas on what I am loving this holiday and winter season.
Don't forget to treat yourself too this season! Take a look at Target’s Wonderlist, a collection of the coolest and best looks that will make you want to give and get... to yourself that is!

This post is sponsored by Target. As always, all opinions are my own.

The holidays are my favorite time of year!
There is nothing like the love and joy this season brings. Being a mom, I know how stressful it can get and how we tend to forget about ourselves in the mayhem that comes with this time of year. We have to be on top of gift lists, dinner prepping, hosting and, of course, dressing our best.

That's why today, I am sharing three super-stylish looks that I think you should try this season.
I teamed up with Target and my assigned theme was Holiday Creations. My challenge was to create three totally different outfits using just a few pieces that are super versatile, trendy and perfect this winter season. Each one of these looks was created with the Holiday Equations theme in mind.

Just like you, I have a long to-do list for the next month. I am hosting Thanksgiving this year, so I have to make sure that not only is dinner perfect and delicious, but also the table looks to the T. But I also want to be sure I am spending my money wisely when it comes to my wardrobe choices. Therefore, I want to share my tips and tricks with you so you can also be at ease but still feel confident and stylish as you host or attend, and, most of all, enjoy the spirit of the holidays.

This first look is perfect for "Friendsgiving" dinner. I am totally obsessed with this fringe vest. The possibilities are endless with this piece! This is a super-chic OOTD that I want to wear over and over again. I love to mix textures and shades of the same hue. The sequins on the bag give this look the perfect amount of glam. Combine that with the fringe on the vest, and you are a rocking a super-cool, laid-back but totally stylish look. Not too over the top—just enough glam to turn a few heads.

I created this second look with Thanksgiving in mind. I think it's the perfect balance of casual and chic. A must-have not only this season, but also all year round is a black dress. And I loved this one from Target because it has the right amount of marbled print to take it to the next level, being anything but boring. You can add the same fringe vest and bag from the previous look for a completely different but still stylish outfit—one that I will be rocking this Thanksgiving.

Saving the best and most glamorous Target look for last.

There is nothing that screams glamour more than fur—make that faux fur to be exact, and you are winning at life. Not only did this snood take this dress to another level, but it also made me feel like a million bucks. From my closet to my living room, mixing sequins and fur is everything to me right now. And this outfit is definitely one for the books. Easy but so put together!

All you have to do is add a classic red lipstick, style a simple high bun and voila! You've got yourself the perfect New Year's Eve outfit for a fraction of the cost of any designer look with the same exact va-va-voom effect! It's all about being creative and smart with your money this season, ladies.

Take a look at the Wonderlist on for some major holiday style inspiration. You'll fall in love with everything from luxe to classics to metallics to brights—and, of course, some exclusive pieces you will find only at Target this holiday season.

Hi guys! I haven't posted a recipe in a little while so today I wanted to share my arroz con atun that I shared on snapchat last night. I love that you guys love my recipe videos on there and decided to share the super simple recipe here. This is a simple, different and delicious alternative to your typical arroz con pollo. It's great for days when you forget to take out the meat from the freezer too. I typically make it with Ecuadorian tuna because it is so flavorful but you can use any tuna of your choice.
Servings: 4

3 Cups of Rice
2 Cans of Tuna
1/4 Cup of Red Onions
1 cup of Frozen Peas and Carrots
Cilantro to Taste
2 Tablespoons of Virgin Olive Oil
1 Tablespoon of Soy Sauce
Make your yellow rice as you normally would. While that's cooking up start on your tuna. In a wok style pan add your olive oil. mix it your onions and add the soy sauce. Let it cook for about 3-4 minutes and add in the peas and carrots. Mix it all up and let it cook for another 4-5 minutes on medium low flame. Continue mixing it in. Once the onions have softened up and the peas and carrots are nice and soft - you are all done!
Mix in with the rice and top it off with cilantro to taste! Mix it and voila.
Buen provecho amigas

I wanted to finally share our family photos from the beginning of the fall. You guys saw a little sneak peak of them a couple of months back and there are so many I love but here are just a few of my favorites.
I was lucky enough to get squeezed in to Digna Toledo's busy schedule for our family photo session.
If you don't know Digna, you need to head over to her website and check her out for your family photos this holiday season. She is based in NJ but travels. She is amazing! So sweet and patient with children and has a captivating eye that captured our little family in our essence.
We had such a fun time during this shoot and it was actually not stressful at all as these photo shoots tend to be when you have multiple children.
If you are looking for a great photography with reasonable pricing, I definitely recommend Digna Toledo Photography. She was very professional and communicative. She delivered our pictures in a timely manner and we are more than happy with our results.
Check her out HERE for more on her beautiful work.
Huge thanks to Lulu's for gifting me my entire outfit. This is by far my favorite dress ever.

This post is sponsored by DSW Shoes. As always, all opinions are my own.
I am so happy to be getting back into the swing of things around here. I missed you guys terribly, but I am back and ready to work. And I'm so excited to share that I teamed up with DSW, one of my all-time favorite shoe stores, for this post! I love that they offer a true variety of styles and brands for the whole family, at all price points. And their sales are AH-MAZING!
This fall season is no exception when it comes to selecting cute shoes that will last us a very long time and won't break the bank. At DSW, I always find the perfect pair for my whole family. Now that my son is in school, I like to make sure his shoes are comfortable enough to run around in but also super cute to match his cool-boy looks.
I decided to go with the electric blue Puma sneakers for Ben and the classic black combat boot for me. I've been wanting the perfect pair of black combat boots, and when I saw these Steve Madden ones, I knew I had to have them. I am so happy I found these! They are not only comfortable, but also edgy- and the quality is amazing. These will battle snowstorms with me while I try to dress in style this winter! I've already worn them a few times, and I love the look every single time. They go with so many different styles, from dresses to skinny pants to leggings, of course (mommies raise your hands, you know what I am talking about!).
I think I've mentioned in the past how obsessed I am with boys' shoes. When I had my son, four years ago, it was so difficult to find cute things for boys. The styles were limited, but I always knew I could find the cutest shoes at DSW. It's hard for boys to go all out in the accessories department, so I rely on shoes to make his outfits fun and stylish. I love everything from leather boots to loafers to high top sneakers to, of course, colorful and comfortable sneakers like these Pumas. And his favorite color is blue, so this was pretty much a no-brainer.
I put together a wish list of my favorite DSW shoes. I hope Santa brings me at least one...or five!

I've been a very good girl.
At DSW, we believe that shoes have the power to bring out something great in everyone.
So no matter who you are or how you dress, we've got just what you need.

Shoes say a lot about you. Spend a little. Say a lot.
