Dress: c/o SheIn similar HERE
Shoes: c/o SheIn
I am so happy to finally have been able to shoot this dress. I wore this a few weeks ago for the Lulu's event during New York Fashion Week and so many of you loved it from the photo I posted on Instagram! And so do I! It was so easy to wear and I loved the pop of color and fun element that this dress has. Unfortunately, it's now sold out here but I found a super similar one that is perfect for this fall! Check it out here! My shoes were a hit that night! I love them and they are actually super comfortable. They gave my dress the perfect pink balance.
So many of you loved this lip color I wore yesterday on my Snaps {lolabluestyle}.
It's called Blake's Red and it's by L'Oreal's  new collection of all different shades of red lipsticks.
I have all of them and this is for sure one of my favorite. It last all day and it feels so natural and smooth. I didn't even feel like I had lipstick on! So if you are looking for a perfect shade of red this fall season, head over to your local drug store and see what RED works for you.

New York Fashion Week is well over by now...
and I loved being able to watch the shows from the comfort of my own home. This year I decided to stay in and watch the shows on live stream and catch deets and things on social media. Thank God for modern technology! With two kiddies in tow, my days of going into the city (from NJ) daily for NYFW are over. But that doesn't mean I have to stay out of the loop!
Unless you're living under a rock, you know that Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner are the It girls of the moment. Those two beautiful girls are on top of the world! be 19 or 20 again.
They both walked several runways this season, but one of my favorites had to be the Diane von Furstenberg Spring/Summer 2016 collection. And what caught my attention the most was the ‘70s-inspired makeup and hair! I love seeing vintage looks on modern-day muses.
Those girls are so naturally beautiful they can truly rock just about anything!
I decided to have a little fun over the weekend by re-creating this fabulous ‘70s look. I loved the colored eye shadow and the simple pink/nude lips.
For my runway-model-inspired look, I used some of my favorite drugstore makeup brands. If you know me, you know I love a product that is affordable and convenient. Anything that makes my life easier as a mom! And I love that I can run to Walgreens to pick these up and find everything I need for my beauty hauls. Here are some of the brands I used that you will love too!

I used a purple shadow instead of the blue because I loved the soft yet sultry look of this Colour Prevails: Eye Shimmer Powder. I applied a soft pinkish lip gloss by Circa Beauty to my lips for a finishing touch.  I loved it!

This No7 Perfectly Bronzed Mosaic Bronzer is my latest cheeky obsession! You can make so many different shades of blush and bronzer; the color is pretty pigmented so trust me a little goes a long way.

And to perfect my re-creation of the DVF SS16 collection, I added two of Emme's flower clips on the side of my hair. I loved this bohemian-yet-fab vibe each of the models had going.
You have to love that Diane! She wins every time.

So remember you don't have to spend a ton of money on more expensive brands. Walgreens always has my back and as a blogger and a mom, I appreciate convenience and of course affordability.
What was your favorite runway beauty style?
For me, as you can see Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner's makeup was perfection.
And while I still need a lot of practice,
Walgreens always makes it easy for me to get what I want and love.
Disclosure: This post was sponsored by Walgreens through their partnership with POPSUGAR Select. While I was compensated to write a post about Walgreens Beauty, all opinions are my own.

If you guys follow me on Instagram and Twitter, you now know that I don't like to wash dishes!
And this week I confessed to using paper plates daily so that I don't have to wash the plates!
I have no shame in my game ladies, this little secret saves me time and effort! So anytime you see my pretty food photos on Instagram from what I just cooked... know that, I only did it for the insta!
Everyone else ate on paper plates!
As a mom and wife this is just one of my little secrets;) I like to make sure I spend enough time with my babies so I like to be proactive when it comes to my duties in the house. For example, I start cleaning the house on Wednesdays, little by little... so that I don't have to spend one whole day cleaning. And I use Fantastik Scrubbing Bubbles cleaning spray because it's effective and cleans off my messes quick and efficiently. I love the cleaning smell and leaves my toaster, blender and stove super shiny and clean! You need it too, Especially this season, as it not only cuts grease and grime but it also kills the viruses causing the flu and common cold! But don't just take my word for it, take a look at the details HERE, helps make my life easier and it will make yours easier too.
So tell me, what's your little confession? We all have one.

ps: Confession #459, I don't really wear heels when I clean... it just matched my turban!

Hat | Rag & Bone
Top | c/o Lulu's
Jeans | c/o Target
Bag | Aldo Shoes
Shoes | ShoeDazzle
I love fall... and what I love most is fall fashion!
It's so easy and comfortable and accessories make it super fun to dress up or down this season.
Last week I attended a super cute event in the city with Urban Decay (it was a Brow Bootcamp!) so I knew I wanted to wear this top from Lulu's which is actually a set and comes with a skirt (totally a summer trend)! But because the event wasn't super dressy I switched the skirt to pants and I was super comfortable and felt great in my outfit. These jeans are my latest flare faves from Target and I know I'll be wearing them a lot this fall season. They have variety of styles and they made different lengths which I am so happy they thought about us petite gals!
I added my favorite fall/winter hat for a fab touch that pulled this whole look together.
The hat screams fall while my heels are totally summer but this goes well so seamlessly for a super effortless but so put together outfit.
Stay tuned this week ladies, as we will be adding VIP tickets to our The Modern Latina Shop & Sip event happening this Sunday, September 27th! The first batch of tickets sold out in 24 hours and we want to make sure to give a few of you the opportunity to come too!
If you are in NY/NJ area do not miss out! And if you are able to purchase VIP tickets this week, I totally recommend you do so, the glam bags are ridiculously amazing!
Most importantly you can shop our closets and I am super proud to be donating a percentage of my proceeds to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
You can rsvp and purchase tickets HERE. I truly hope to see some of you there!

This post is sponsored by Orville Redenbacher’s Popcorn.
As you know, my family and I took a little road trip up to Boston last weekend for the super fun US Weekly Family Movie Night!  I am so happy I was able to bring my family with me and enjoy a couple of days in beautiful Boston.
The kids were amazing. Emme slept the whole way there, only waking up in the last 30 minutes.
The weather was great on the first day and we made it safe and sound to the hotel.
We quickly got ready and headed to dinner and got to walk around a little.
We headed to the event at 6pm and we love love loved the space where the event took place! It totally reminded me of Bryant Park in NYC. There were tall buildings all around, helicopters flying by, activities for the kids and of course delicious buttery and warm popcorn!
They even had the cutest stand where you were able to make your very own flip book! So cute!
One of my favorite activities they had for the kids was a huge coloring book on the grass for the kids to get creative on. My son loved it! He ran to grab markers and immediately started to color!
And as you can see in some of the pics, so did I!
As a family of four, I truly enjoyed how easy and comfortable this event was. They provided us with blankets to lay on, fun games to keep the kids entertained while we waited for the movie to start and of course popcorn! Because a movie night is not a movie night without some Orville Redenbacher's Popcorn!
It was a chilly night in Boston but that didn't stop us from enjoying an amazing movie in the park!
This was actually my first time in Boston and I can't wait to go back! It reminded me of Hoboken with a little bit of New York City vibe... there were so many people out and about enjoying the night, we loved the restaurants and the boutiques were so cute. I truly can't wait to go back already!
Sunday was a rainy chilly day so we decided to stay in and order room service for breakfast and headed home around 11... we love making memories like these with the kids. There is nothing I love more than enjoying life with my little fambam.

This post is sponsored by Orville Redenbacher’s Popcorn.
I am so excited to share that I will be in Boston tomorrow with my entire little family to attend US WEEKLY'S FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT in collaboration with Orville Redenbacher's Popcorn.
And today I wanted to share a few details and hope you can also come out!
My favorite thing to do from spring to fall is to be outdoors, especially in the park with my kids.
If you follow me on Instagram you know we do this every chance we can. Picnics are our fave! So combine this with a fun movie at the park and I'm in heaven! I remember being younger and loving movies in the park. Something about being outdoors and just relaxing watching your favorite movie, enjoying delicious popcorn! Which is why I am sharing tomorrow's event with you!
The event will take place tomorrow:
Saturday, September 12th at 6:00PM at The Prudential Center, South Garden in Boston!
I have already packed everything for the kiddies and myself and I am so excited to be able to share this mini road trip with them. We've actually never been to Boston, so we are all happy to take this little vacation together. So what does a family of four pack for a movie night out on the town? I am packing everything from toys to teethers! I've checked the weather so I am sure to pack some light sweaters and comfortable shoes for all of us. You all know I am all about comfort and fashion, especially if I'm with my kids, I want to be able to enjoy the movie and have fun at the park!
We are actually driving there so I am a little nervous about how the kids will do during our four-hour drive! But as all you mommies know, the more entertainment the better for the drive! This is true even for movie night out in my town! I always make sure to have everything the kids love and kids love snacks! And my fave is the pre-popped bags of Orville Redenbacher’s Movie Theater Butter Popcorn! They are so delicious and buttery, my son loves them!
Don't forget the event is open to the public! Come by and check it out, it promises to be a ton of fun for the entire family! Let's make the best out of these gorgeous days by enjoying a ton of activities with the kids outdoors! All before the dreaded winter comes. We told B about our upcoming trip and we celebrated with what else? A movie night at home with some of his favorite movies. We loved that Orville Redenbacher's Popcorn pops in just minutes, they are delicious, buttery and it's the perfect snack for any movie night.
I can't wait to show you snaps and pics of our trip! Don't forget to follow along on Snapchat and Instagram where I will be sharing all the fun!

Disclaimer: These pictures were at 7:30 in the morning. In pjs before school, as real as it got.
A few weeks ago I attended the Johnson's Baby No More Tangles (#TangleTalk) event at the ultra fab and ubber adorable Milk + Cookies Kids Spa and Salon in New York City. We had such a fun morning and I was so happy to learn about a few tips and tricks on how to make my mornings easier when back to school time came! Well, time flew and fast forward to today! My son is already on his fourth day of Pre-K 4 at his new school. It's safe to say he is L O V I N G it.
And I am jumping for joy! I was  little nervous for him (as all mother's are) but mostly just excited.
Last week, he had his first two days, which were pretty much practice runs for the kiddos. They all had a super laid back Thursday and Friday, but it was back to business yesterday (Tuesday) after a fun and long holiday weekend!
Mornings have been a lot more hectic, but mostly just longer because we are waking up a whole hour earlier. But even though it gets chaotic from time to time, it's all going much better than I anticipated.
I have to give credit where credit is due... my husband is amazing. But I have some go to products and tips I use to make mornings as smooth as they can be with a toddler and a baby.
Here is how my mornings typically go...
Our morning today started at 6am, Emme woke up, I fed her, she went back to sleep, at 6:30am I was answering emails, by 7:15 I was upstairs waking Ben up with some annoying mommy kisses. Thankfully he still loves them!
I dressed him in bed... I clearly remember when my mom would do the same for me. She would let me stay in bed as long as possible. Moms are the sweetest.
He brushed his teeth... then mama came to brush again just to be sure. Mommies, it's important to let them brush so they learn but you can go in there a second time to be sure they got it all right.
We were downstairs by 7:25, he got to play with the baby for a bit in the playpen (he loves getting in there with her and it gives me some time off) while I made breakfast for him. He finished his food and we went straight to his hair. My son has always had a ton of hair. From the moment he was born he had his own little signature side part hair style. I am so serious! I use Johnson's Baby No More Tangles Detangling Spray first and then finish off with a styling gel. You may think, hair styles for boys are oh! so easy but let me share with you that this is not always the case.
For example, Ben has really thick hair just like his mama! So I like to use the detangling spray so it is nice and smooth and the smell is a win-win. I love that Johnson's Baby is a trusted brand. They are affordable and most of all effective. It is safe on both of my children and there is a spray, shampoo, conditioner, lotion and more... for everyone. From curly to thick hair, you will definitely be as happy as I am with what you need for the kids. It truly makes my life so much easier.
By 7:45 both my guys were out the door... he made prayers at school on time today! You know we felt accomplished!
Mornings are far from perfect... between my slow-moving 4 year old and my hungry and clingy 7 month old, it gets hectic here. But I always relay on making my life easier by using products and techniques that work best for us... because I've learned to simply: pick my battles.
This post is sponsored by Johnson's Baby. As always all opinions are my own.

Top + Skirt | H&M
Shoes | ASOS
Sunnies | Chanel
We had an amazing extended weekend, you can catch some pics on my Instagram:)
But now back to reality and reality calls for the most anticipated fashion event of the year!
I've been lucky enough to attend more than a handful of shows over the past two years and I am excited to attend certain events this time too. I've been receiving all sorts of invites for dinners, shows and everything NYFW! I won't be attending any event's this weekend because I have an amazing opportunity to travel and I will be away. More on that this Friday! So stay tuned!
But the real reason for this post is to give you guys an idea on how to dress for NYFW on a budget!
Listen ladies, I am all about shopping racks after racks... and I am a sale lover!
But I have to admit this year things are a little different, with a new baby and a lot of life changes lately, I have not given the mall any attention as of lately.
So I wanted to share some ideas on how you can pull pieces from your own closet to dress super fashionably and chic for at least one of your days in NYC.
Every piece you see here is "old" from my closet... I love how this look came out.
It's simple, elegant and still fashion forward... the sunnies and leopard pumps at a little oomph to this look and I love that extra mile!
My tip is to go basic but bold... catch my drift? We all have a bold, colorful top or skirt! Wear that. And go basic with solid colors... simply add the wow factor  with a fab pair of shoes or accesories.
Wear your best sunnies! The right sunglasses give anyone fabulosity!
Trust me ladies, there has to be something in your closet you can pull off.
On another note, I wanted to let you guys know about this super cute and healthy restaurant my photographer and I brunched in on this day. It's called Brewed Awakening Coffeeshouse and it's in Metuchen. I definitely recommend  it if you are looking for a healthy breakfast or lunch option in town. It had awesome reviews on Groupon and now I know why!
