You guys know how much I love to test out different products and brands... especially to compare different price point products, so today I am bringing you a fun beauty post all about my latest obsession in foundation. I took the Stay Matte Challenge and ladies I am so happy I did. I got to test out Rimmel London's Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation, I am not normally a big foundation girl unless I am going to an event or big affair but I have been wearing this foundation all week, it's that amazing. It looks great with a full face of makeup as well as a more simple natural look. If you follow me on Instagram, you can see a couple of shots of my daily looks so you can take a peek at my day to day makeup wear. I have to say what I liked most about the product is the smooth and lightweight and super silky texture as well as the natural look it leaves on my skin. It last all day for a perfect matte finish. Other foundations are cakey or thicker and this one was super smooth and you only need just a dab to cover your entire face. I will definitely be making the Matte Switch and sticking to this one.

Now I want to encourage your to try out the Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation for yourself and be entered on the Rimmel Contest. All you have to do is create your own product review or video and tag it #staymatteswitch and enter your link on the Rimmel Tumblr submission page. You can win a makeup prize pack to create Endless London Looks valued at $1,000!
And lastly you can also enter a sweepstakes by taking a selfie and declaring you are making the switch! Just upload your selfie to Twitter, Instagram or Tumblr and #StayMatteSwitch and tag @RimmelLondonUS The prize... Five iPad airs! Good luck dolls! You won't regret making the switch, I promise.  Can't wait to see your reviews!

It was announced yesterday that Dominican actress Zoe Zaldana is the new face of L'oreal and I couldn't be prouder to be a Latina. Zoe is the epitome of natural beauty and I think she is a perfect fit for the brand. She is a strong woman who has made her way in to fame through hard work and perseverance and to me she is an inspiration to not only Latinas but women across the globe. Because We Are Worth It.
"Zoe astonishes with her audaciousstyle and feline beauty. Attached to her values, unafraid to speak her mind, andconfident in her own skin, she embodies infallible force and asserted femininity. With her toned dancer’s silhouette, magnetic charm and delicate elegance, this spectacular actress is joining the L’Oréal Paris family and we're so proudto welcome this new Woman of Worth," said Cyril Chapuy, Brand Global President.
“Growing up, I was taught to believe that I am capable to do anything a man can do. This family philosophy has shaped who I am today, and is a conviction that will always accompany me through life. As a L’Oréal Paris Spokesperson, being able to say “We’re worth it” means so much to me. I want to share that value with women so they can embrace it and execute life with confidence. I am thrilled to join this beauty journey with such an inspirational brand,” said Zoe Saldana.

This is a compensated campaign in collaboration with AVEENO and Latina Bloggers Connect. All opinions are my own.
For today's post I want to share with you all a couple of amazing all-natural and homemade recipes, but this time I am talking about natural face masks and body scrubs. I have teamed up with Aveeno Active Naturals and Latina Bloggers Connect to tell you a bit about the secrets my mother and grandmother shared with me when I was younger. Ever since I can remember my mother was always on top of me about taking care of my skin. One of her secrets? Oatmeal and brown sugar.
I clearly remember my mom showing me how to make a oatmeal facial mask. So easy and so healthy. All you need is oatmeal and warm water, you mix it up until it has a soft texture. Then continue by exfoliating it onto your face in circular motions for about 2-3 minutes, then rinse. And did you know that oatmeal is actually a anti-irritant and to me, the best kept beauty secret as it has five vital elements that are also found in healthy skin; proteins, anti-oxidants, enzymes, vitamins and lipids. Tip: use cold water when rinsing your face, this will help close your pores.
And lastly another of my favorite beauty home made recipes.... the brown sugar body scrub. For this you will need brown sugar, warm water and a bit of honey. Mix it up into a creamy scrub and voila! Continue on to scrubbing your back and shoulders and then finalize by rinsing as you normally would in the shower. This is my favorite all-natural scrub. It smells delicious and it is so healthy and smoothing. Here is a minute long video narrated by Jennifer Aniston, it is quite interesting to see how oats come from the farm to our everyday lives. It is amazing to see the abundance of ingredients found in nature to make our skin beautiful in a natural way. We have the best and most natural way to be healthy inside and out right at our fingertips.

Happy Thursday my loves!
For today's look I wanted to show you a super casual but trendy look: the monochromatic style. I personally love it and really need to wear it more often! It is so easy and so laid back. I vamped it up by adding a fun envelope clutch from Lulu's and statement necklace. I wore this last Sunday for a quick run to the mall and then a kids birthday party with my family. This necklace I am wearing here is one of my new spring pieces, one of my favorite. It is very different and super detailed. And as you can see even Lola made a little cameo.
Hola chicas/os! Feliz jueves!

This past Saturday my family and I attended a super cute event, my first one with Ben! It was a event hosted by blogger mommy Alicia Gibbs of Chica Fashion.  The event was held at Time 2 Party in Montclair, it was a fun place for the kids, my son and niece had a blast. There was everything from bubbles to carnival games, music and delicious cupcakes! We got to look through a few of the FabKids outfits and I am so happy I attended because I just placed my first order a week ago and I am so impressed with the amazing quality and super stylish designs, what is best is there prices! I can't wait to receive my first package. I love dressing up my boy and he will be making little cameos here and there this spring/summer. I was so happy to attend as a family, my husband also came with us. I can't wait to do more of these kids events, now that Ben is a little older he really enjoys things like this as well as taking outfit pics like his mama! Here are some of the pics I was able to snap from our fun and stylish morning.

Here is the adorable Naliya aka Mini Chica Fashion, she is too cute for words! And below is the event hostess Alicia, thank you for having us Alicia! We had a great time. Your kids are precious!

I am so happy spring is here (even if it doesn't feel like it in the East Coast) and this passed Saturday I wore one of my favorite pants, these super chic peacock print pants! They are comfortable, high waisted and just fab. I decided to mix prints and textures for a fun look which I love, and it was perfect for a kids event I attended that morning. The lace sweater and color block sandals made the look super fun. The event was for FabKids and it was our first event as a family so that was fun. I will be posting about the event later this week so stay tuned!

Happy Monday! Today I want to share with you some really fun news. About a week ago bebe launched their spring/summer sunglasses collection and I have to say I am super pleased with the beautiful timeless and classic styles. The face of bebe, Nina Agdal kicked off the brand’s sunglass launch and spring campaign at the bebe store in South Beach. The styles have a 70s vibe to them which I really love. Super chic and elegant. I personally love a big frame and I really appreciate the color diversity they designed for the collection. The prices are great, all at under $90. I can't wait to get my hands on one of these! Below are my top 3.

This black matte style is my favorite, I can see myself wearing this one daily since the style is so chic and just a classic, for an everyday look as well as a more polished elegant affair. And ladies, these are only $88!
For spring/summer 2014, bebe is introducing a sun collection of eye wear that revitalizes timeless shapes and offers new interpretations on the classics. Punctuated colors and mirrored lenses are incorporated into signature aviators, full volume glam shapes are subdued with marbled tortoises with understated hues, and the play on plastic vs. metal is prevalent within each release. The collection will range from $68-$88, and will be available in-stores nationwide and on
Steve Birkhold, CEO says “bebe is a lifestyle brand, and aside from our apparel, non-apparel is a big part of our business” “Launching sunglasses was a natural next step in expanding our accessories collection and rounding out our girls’ lifestyle needs. We wanted to create a collection that revitalizes timeless shapes and offers new interpretations on the classics – something that our bebe girl can have some fun with.”

Hola! Happy 1st day of spring!
Today I wanted to bring you a super quick and delicious alternative to white rice: green rice. I made this delicious arroz verde last Sunday. We went out to dinner on Saturday night and had some steak left over... So I made my favorite type of rice. I don't know about you but I get tired of the same kind of food too often and white rice is one of those things that really need to be revamped often. Here is an easy + quick rice idea.
You will need:
Green Pepper
Sour Cream
Once you have your white rice cooked and ready, simply blend about 2 tablespoons of sour cream with about a 1/4 of your medium size green pepper, add cilantro to taste. Voila you have your green sauce. Mix this into your rice and add chopped up scallions and you're all done! TIP: you may also add a feta style cheese to the sauce while blending for a thicker consistency, which I always do for extra yummy taste. There are several ways to make my green rice, this is just what I had in my fridge that day! I hope you guys like my foodie posts. I love to share little ideas for your dinner meals. Have a great Thursday and don't miss tomorrow's post for a giveaway valued at $300!

This is by far one of my favorite tops ever. It is a TopShop pearl encrusted deep-v-back exquisite blouse! I got it a couple of years ago and have only worn it a couple of times because you have to wear it right. It is so perfect and delicate. Super feminine and so glam yet understated. I paired it with my golden silk pants from Zara and added a fun lip to bring a little sexy to the look. I am so in love with all the gorgeous shades for this spring, which include all sorts of pastels but also very glam neutrals, like the once I am wearing here.
Hola chicas!
