KNITTED OUT

Happy Monday Dolls! And a happy one it is... Christmas Eve is tomorrow and I am so excited for family time, delicious food and lots of gifts. I am so excited to see my son's face when he opens his gifts, he is obsessed with trucks and cars, so we will be having lots of those around the house. I wore this casual look for a Christmas shopping day. Super simple and cozy, notice no coat because we've had weird warm weather here... but her I'll take it.

RADIANT ORCHIC: 2014 COLOR OF THE YEAR

As you all know by now "Radiant Orchid" is Pantone's color of the year for 2014. And I am loving it, it is bold and beautiful and definitely sets a fun mood. You will be seeing this color a lot  this spring... from shoes to dresses to handbags + nail polish. I have compiled some of my fave items in this color from different brands such as Piperlime, Urban Decay and L'Oreal, Revolve Clothing and Tory Burch. I am in love with these Piperlime shoes and the Revolve dress! It is SS14 perfection! I can't wait for May these cold temps can get pretty annoying after a while.
You must always have a great bold maxi! This one from Piperlime.
A pop of color is a must all year round and this Tory Burch is perfection.
Royal Reinvented by L'Oreal... this post is truly making me miss Spring!

A great alternative to the classic black liner is this fun color Asphyxia by Urban Decay.

Smoky eyes don't only have to be about blacks and browns, I definitely recommend you change it up a bit for spring with this gorgeous shade; Fishnet by Urban Decay.

So ladies, will you be wearing Radiant Orchid this new year? The posibilities are endless when it comes to having fun with fashion and one of my favorite seasons is definitely Spring. Everything is simply prettier. Until then... I will be Spring Dreamin' during this cold-hearted winter we are having here in NJ.

WINTER FASHION: DRESSING UP YOUR COAT

Here is the thing about blogging in the winter... it is cold and windy and you really don't want to spend too much time outside taking pics, especially without a coat on! Though you will see some of that, us bloggers we can be a little cray ;) We had more snowfall yesterday, this time much less than Saturday but still beautiful. So I took these quick pics in my "winter uniform" - this amazing neutral H&M coat that I scored for $30 with my favorite Zara scarf and old and classic faves Sam Edelman knee high boots. The key to dressing up your coat is to have a pretty scarf and amazing boots... and in this case I popped it a little with a red lip. I wear this coat mostly every day so I like to change up my scarves and hats for different looks.

My photographer aka my husband.... really does a great job at my pics! And I know he will read this so I just wanted to thank him, thank you for believing in me and supporting me in all my crazy ideas. I love shooting with you!

LET IT SNOW

Hi guys! Happy Freezing Monday... It has been a freezing cold last few days here in NJ. The temperatures dropped so fast, it went from 60 to 30 degrees in like one day. We had our second snow of the month or the week for that matter this past Saturday. And I went out to do these pics during the beautiful snowfall. I love the all white setting but I have to be honest I don't like the aftermath one bit. The icy roads, the freezing cold wind and the danger of it really freaks me out. I am a summer girl and can't wait for May to get here! But I do love the layered look and wearing some fab boots. In this case I wore a comfy sweatshirt, jeans and suede boots and topped it with this bubble vest with a faux fur trim good. And to add a little style I put on my favorite Old Navy scarf from last week's Old Navy Holiday Bazaar event. It is super chunky and warm. I know I will be wearing a ton this season.
-------------------------------------------------

Stay warm... there is another storm coming tomorrow!

BEAUTY: HOLIDAYS WITH NEUTROGENA

This is a compensated campaign in collaboration with Neutrogena and Latina Bloggers Connect. However, all opinions expressed are my own.

I think most of us would agree that December is one of the best months of the year! The holiday season just makes everyone extra sweet and caring and if I must say so myself, extra fabulous! I love holiday music and colors and exquisite, sparkly outfits, they truly complete me. For today's post I've teamed up with Neutrogena to tell you how I make sure that I look fab in the middle of the holiday craze.
I have been using Neutrogena for a while now and their products never disappoint. They are perfect for a mom on the go like me, who doesn't want to compromise my love for everything beauty and fashion, just because I'm a mom. And Neutrogena helps me achieve just that! I use their face wash religiously and I always follow with a moisturizer mixed with their Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup, I mix it on my palm and apply all over my face and voila! I have a homemade BB Cream. This is a super easy way to even out your skin tone and have a nice natural foundation and at the same time add that extra moisture you need, especially if you live on the East Coast like me. For an effortless holiday inspired look, I go for a simple shimmery eye using their Crease Proof Eye Shadow and add a thick winged line for a fun retro feel. And of course, my favorite part: lots of mascara! In this case I used Healthy Lengths Mascara in black. Then simply add a touch of bronzer or blush, or both. And seal the look with a bold lip or nude glossy lip. I always decide this final touch based on my outfit, sometimes the bold lip just brings it all together, be daring!

This is such an easy way to look fabulous in just under 10 minutes. Look radiant this holiday season because the holidays are made to glow... from the inside out that is! Remember beauties, there is no radiance more beautiful than that of a beautiful heart. This holiday season glow with Neutrogena!

...and here is a little holiday inspiration to go with your easy and glam Neutrogena beauty look!
I am loving this all gold sparkly look!
Have a great weekend lovelies!
