{STEAL HER LOOK} for less!

Remember that Lanvin Snake Dress that Jennifer Lopez wore at a press conference to announce her nation wide tour with Enrique Iglesias? Yes, that one! Well it costs about $8,000! Yes you read right. It is embellished with Swarovsky crystals and looked amazing on her, snake and all ;)

Well, I recently came across this dress on the Tobi website. It immediately reminded me of J.Lo's Lanvin dress. And you can get it for a bargain price of just $28.00! I love the colors and this will give curves to just about any woman. What do you think? I love the gold bib necklace, gives it a fab touch, sans the snake. But still fabulous! And the sheer back, pure sexiness.

Sharing my {CLOSET}

I had been wanting to do this for sometime now and finally I had some time to take some photos of my own closet, so here I am sharing them with you. It is still very much a work in progress I have been cleaning it out and donating stuff for a couple of months now... Hopefully soon it'll be all I want it to be!

I hope you enjoyed, I would love to see yours! I love suggestions and tips especially when it comes to organizing my clothes, shoes + accessories ;)

{PERSONAL SHOPPER} Lucky Strike Party!

Lately I've been receiving emails from my followers requesting that I style them for certain events or find a certain piece for their closet, and I love it.

Last week I received an email from Joanna, asking that I help her find the perfect outfit for her birthday party, which is next month at Lucky Strike NYC. And of course, I was IN.

(I love Lucky Strike, it's such a cool, sexy, fun, lounge vibe. If you haven't been, you need to get there.)

Enough about bowling.

I found some fun and sexy jumpsuits, that I think are perfect for a fun lounge-y night out in the city in the summertime.... and for bowling... while sipping a couple of cocktails ;)

I am in love with all 3 of these looks, I think they are sexy and comfortable enough to bowl! Of course you will only be rocking your shoes for a couple minutes until you put on your bowling shoes ;) they should make some Loub's with heels for bowling!
Happy Birthday Joanna and I hope you love at least one of these!

Soft curls by using just a headband!

So a couple of months ago I posted the "Curl Your Hair Using a Sock" post and got a few people quite interested in it. A lot of you have tried and liked it, I tried it as you can see HERE and it came out pretty good for just using a sock!

But for me, having long think hair was a little difficult after the first time to roll my hair into the sock and I stopped doing it. So I moved on to the next option on that Curl Your Hair Without Heat post, which was JUST USE A HEADBAND! Finally I decided to give it a try and I have to be honest, I loved this one. Way easier, and better soft curls, even with my long, heavy hair. I did make one mistake of leaving my hair a little damp in the back though, so be sure to have your hair completely dry, all over.

Here is the blog with the tutorial on how to do it, The Paper Mama she is great and I can't thank her enough for introducing me to this method, great for on-the-go-mommies like me!

Take a look at my pictures showing you my process of doing Curls Using a Headband.

You will look a bit like a flapper girl once you've tucked in all your hair... but hey Halloween idea!
Here is the back, I pushed the headband up to my hair line so
I didn't have a funny mark the next morning.
Here is how I woke up that morning, minus the makeup of course ;)

 And waaalaa! One side here...
 The other side here.
I then sprayed a light hairspray on my hair...
I really loved my curls yesterday.
So click on to this link to see the video on how to do it.

Do not forget to have your entire head of hair DRY!  The back of mine was a little damp so the back didn't take and didn't look as soft and nice as the front did.Try it and let me know what you think and if it worked for you as well.

As for me, I am definitely doing it again this Sunday for Mother's Day!
